In Loving Memory of Dana M. Diaz

April 1973- January 2021

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith and not by sight

Dana Diaz was born in Washington, DC and raised in Arlington, Virginia. A woman of God who loved the Lord Jesus Christ, she attended Lincoln Park United Methodist Church for several years where she sang in several of the choirs. As a gifted musician who loved all genres of music, Dana could play ANY instrument from the violin, to the saxophone, to the piano. One of her many pastimes was listening to her vast collection of music by her favorite artists.

Dana was a strong woman, an encourager, and a motivator. Dana was a generous person who would selflessly give to others! She was smart, curious, and loved to learn new things. Dana was a hard worker who was dedicated to finishing any task she started. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed traveling, cooking, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

A child of God, a daughter, a granddaughter, a niece, a goddaughter, a godmother, an “Auntie Dana”, a cousin to many cousins who love her, a girlfriend, a friend, a BFF, a confidante and a sister- many will miss her smile, her laugh, her zeal for life, her can-do attitude, her faith, her fortitude and her spirit. Dana will always be loved and remembered. She’s now entered into the Lord's rest!!
